New Housing Recovery Program

A new feature called "Construction Payment" has been introduced in the Action app as part of the "eRecovery" program.

The press service of "Action" reports that this new service allows individuals who lost their homes due to armed conflict to receive state support.

"If your house has been destroyed, you can build a new one on your own land, receiving compensation under the "eRecovery" program," the message states.

This service is available to those who lost their private homes due to hostilities and have a plot of land for new construction. New buildings can be erected on controlled territory where combat activities are no longer ongoing.

To obtain compensation, follow these steps:

1. Submit a compensation application through the Action app or at the local administrative center. After review, the compensation amount will be determined and shown in the Action app.

2. Register the commencement of construction works via the Action portal or at the administrative center.

3. After receiving compensation, cancel the ownership rights to the destroyed property.

4. Submit a payment application within the Action app: Services → eRecovery → Construction Payment.

You need to update your bank details and select the object where construction is taking place, based on the previously submitted notice of the commencement of works.

Compensation is paid in two installments of 50%. The first installment must be spent on 90% and confirmed in the "Action" app. It must be used within 18 months, while both installments must be utilized within 36 months from the date of receiving the first. Otherwise, the funds will revert to the state.

Reminder:

Through the "Action" app, you can also submit an application to the Register of Damages for compensation related to emotional suffering from the loss of a close family member.

Ukrainians affected by Russian aggression since February 24, 2022, can submit six additional categories of applications for compensation to the international Register of Damages via the "Action" app.

The "Action" app has also added an extract from the Register of Damaged Property – regarding the fact of destruction or a submitted application for eRecovery.
