CDTO Campus Partners with Global Government Technology Centre
CDTO Campus has entered into a memorandum with the Global Government Technology Centre (Berlin). This partnership focuses on exchanging expertise in digital transformation and executing collaborative initiatives.
The educational programs of CDTO Campus will play a crucial role in training the next generation of digital leaders in Germany. GovTech Campus Deutschland, in collaboration with TUM Think Tank, will incorporate Ukrainian experience into its educational framework for training specialists in digitalization in Germany.
The memorandum, signed by Halyna Pustova, Director of CDTO Campus, Viktor Lyakh, President of the Eastern Europe Foundation, and Manuel Kilian, Executive Director of GGTC Berlin, outlines a commitment to closely collaborate on digital security and the protection of governmental services. Ukraine will share its unique cybersecurity solutions, including the experience of migrating government services to the cloud, implementing digital documents, and building resilience against cyberattacks.
Valeriya Ionan, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation for European Integration, also participated in the event.
It is worth noting that CDTO Campus is a national educational project aimed at training CDTO (Chief Digital Transformation Officers), a new type of civil servants and public sector specialists to implement innovative projects in public administration and overall digitalization of the country.
In 2024, CDTO Campus aims to train 440 digital transformation leaders and launch 12 programs, some of which are in collaboration with top companies such as Microsoft, Cisco, Apolitical, and other international partners.
CDTO Campus is implemented by the Eastern Europe Foundation, funded by the Visa Foundation, the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ), and supported by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, in cooperation with the Digitality GovTech Centre of Excellence, under the patronage of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
