Metropolitan Epiphanius Visits Odesa Region
His Beatitude Metropolitan Epiphanius made a significant visit to the Odesa region to strengthen spiritual unity.
In Odesa, alongside Archbishop Afanasiy, he visited wounded defenders undergoing treatment and rehabilitation.
The visit included a meeting with local leaders, military representatives, and intellectuals.
Oleg Radkovskyi, the first deputy head of the regional council, presented the Metropolitan with an award for his spiritual support.
«Your presence in our region is a crucial support for all residents of Odesa. Prayer and faith assist our defenders,» — remarked Radkovskyi in his speech.
During the meeting, the Metropolitan presented awards to government officials and military personnel for their contributions to Ukraine's spiritual revival.
In his speech, the Metropolitan addressed issues of spiritual security and the role of the Church in society, as well as threats posed by the aggressor.
Awards were also given to Oleg Radkovskyi and council member Andrii Babenko.
