Supporting Veterans and Their Businesses in Ukraine
A round table was held in Odesa on the topic: “Supporting Business for Young Veterans and IDPs”. The event featured representatives from veteran organizations, local authorities, employment services, and human rights experts.
The discussion focused on employment issues and the development of entrepreneurship among veterans. It was examined how support could come not only from the government but also through local initiatives.
Success stories of projects aiding veterans were presented. Thanks to hackathons and training sessions, over 50 veterans received financial assistance and support in realizing their business ideas. These initiatives were funded by the EU and various NGOs.
Odesa region is actively developing new support programs, engaging international resources to foster veteran business growth.
Improving conditions for veterans and IDPs is an investment in Ukraine's future.
