New Opportunities for Veterans: Electronic Certificate
One of the main priorities of the government is the digitalization of veteran services. The Diia app has launched a long-awaited document for Ukrainians - the electronic veteran's certificate.
Now, over 1 million Ukrainians can use the electronic certificate in various life situations - from mortgage applications to accessing social services. Plus, there's no need to carry a paper version of the document.
The document is available for:
• war veterans;
• combatants;
• persons with disabilities due to war;
• victims of the Revolution of Dignity;
• family members of deceased (passed away) veterans;
• family members of deceased (passed away) defenders of Ukraine.
How to add the veteran's certificate in Diia:
- download the Diia app and click on «Add Document»;
- select «Veteran's Certificate» and consent to receiving data from other registries;
- click «Add» and wait for the document to appear. This will take a few minutes.
What to do if the document is not found?
This means that your information has not been included in the Unified State Register of War Veterans by the authority that granted you status according to current legislation.
The paper certificate indicates which authority issued it.
Call the Unified Veteran Hotline of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs at 0 800 505 217 and report the issuing authority.
Where to use the e-Veteran Certificate
