Discussion on Security and Humanitarian Issues in the Odesa Region

A constructive dialogue was held, during which diplomats were informed about the security and humanitarian challenges in the region. We discussed port activities, the grain corridor, shelling, energy issues, and cultural life.

In response to questions from foreign colleagues, I emphasized that Odesa is a multinational region with over 130 nationalities. However, today we are united in our common struggle for independence and the territorial integrity of our state. Regardless of nationality or religion, we are all Ukrainians who work daily under fire for victory and the future of our children.

Ms. Delphine Pronk highlighted that the world is impressed by the resilience of our people, and thus support from EU partners will continue to ensure that Ukraine stands strong and becomes a full member of the EU and NATO.

We stressed the importance of continued support from international partners and the need for additional air defense resources to ensure security in the Black Sea region.

Together to Victory!
