Enhanced Features for Buyers in Prozorro System
The Odesa Regional State Administration announces the introduction of a new field in the Prozorro system that will allow buyers to justify their procurements. This feature will enable them to explain in advance the need for these purchases.
This innovation will assist the monitoring group preparing materials for the meetings of the working group on 'Transparency and Accountability' in considering the buyer's arguments, as well as help the public understand the benefits of each procurement.
The innovation aims to enhance communication between buyers, the state, and society during wartime.
“Buyers now have a tool that allows them to explain the importance of their procurement in advance to the public. They might have justified needs but were previously forced to respond to criticism only after the fact,” noted Mykola Tkachenko, director of the state enterprise 'Prozorro'.
