New Batch of Equipment for Odesa from Japan

Odesa has received another batch of equipment from Japan - 10 water trucks and a cargo vehicle.
Six of the trucks were handed over to the municipal enterprise «Municipal Green Trust» for operational activities, while four trucks and the cargo vehicle are now under the management of «City Roads». This municipal company is responsible for maintaining order on city roads and bus stops. During the war, it works alongside the housing services to address the aftermath of enemy attacks.

Additionally, all available water trucks are utilized for water delivery as needed. For instance, Odesa's utility workers transported water to neighboring Mykolaiv when the city was without water for several months. They also provided water to the State Emergency Service for extinguishing large-scale fires in the ecosystem.

After attacks on the energy system, when Odesa was left without electricity, water, and heat, the water trucks were employed to deliver water to areas lacking wells.

«I would like to thank our Japanese friends for their incredible support and wish health, happiness, and prosperity to the country. May 2025 bring new opportunities for our cooperation with Japan and the implementation of joint projects, especially for the restoration and development of Odesa!» - said Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov.
