Empowering Veterans: Training, Support, and Grants

Where to find new opportunities for growth, how to spend leisure time effectively, and where to seek assistance - this is what the Ukrainian Veteran Fund reveals in its latest collection of useful resources.

During the state of war, military personnel and combatants are exempt from interest payments on loans. How to take advantage of this benefit is detailed by the lawyers of the Ukrainian Veteran Fund.

EPAM invites Ukrainian veterans to join a specialized program that will help master a new IT profession and acquire the necessary skills for a career in the tech field.

The training will begin in October 2024 (registration is open until the group is filled). The maximum number of participants per group: 50. Language of instruction: Ukrainian. The program is free for all participants, with online classes held three times a week (lectures, practical sessions, task discussions, and Q&A). More details and registration.

The Kyiv School of Economics (KSE) and the Ministry of Digital Transformation launched an educational series titled "Grants for Veterans" on the Diia platform. This series focuses on how veterans and their families can obtain grants for starting or developing a business. In 11 episodes of 10-15 minutes each, KSE experts explain the most popular grant programs: participant requirements, grant amounts, employment obligations, and how to create business ideas and write business plans. Superhumans is forming an orchestra of veterans with prosthetics to show the world the strength and talent of Ukrainians even in tough times. They invite veterans and civilian musicians who lost limbs due to war but returned to playing any musical instrument after successful prosthetics. Details.
