Unexpected Weather Conditions in Kodima Community
Yesterday, January 8th, in the evening, an incident occurred in the Kodima community of the Odesa region.
A freight truck skidded on the road connecting Kodima and Balta, near the village of Ivashkiv, blocking traffic for four passenger vehicles. Only men were inside the stranded cars.
Police, alongside rescuers and municipal services, cleared the road and assisted the drivers in continuing their journey.
The weather remains unfavorable. Some areas of the Odesa region are experiencing snow and ice, significantly complicating transportation. If there is no urgent need to travel, it is advisable to stay home until the weather improves.
We urge drivers to be extremely cautious. Check the condition of tires, brakes, external lights, wipers, heating and cooling systems. Do not drive under the influence of alcohol, always wear seatbelts, reduce speed, maintain a safe distance, avoid sharp maneuvers and braking, and pay close attention to road conditions.
