Fire Incident in Usatove Village
On the evening of January 5, 2026, a fire ignited in an open area in the village of Usatove, Odesa region. According to the Odesa emergency services, a man born in 1986 suffered injuries while attempting to extinguish the fire himself.
He was hospitalized with burns. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are being investigated.
One unit of equipment and five firefighters from the emergency services were deployed to tackle the fire, along with one unit and three personnel from the local fire brigade «Nerubaiske».
