Tulips for Odesa: A New Flowering Season
Employees of the Municipal Enterprise «Miskzelentrest» are actively engaged in planting tulips in Odesa. This autumn, the city received over 98,000 colorful flowers from the Embassy of Ukraine in the Netherlands. The project is managed by the «Grant Office «Odesa 5T».
Currently, the landscapers are working across several locations.
In Istanbul Park, around 3,700 tulips are being planted to beautify a new flowerbed created by the enterprise workers. The flowerbed is designed in the shape of a large heart, to be planted in the colors of Odesa's flag.
Floral patterns of tulips will also adorn the area near the Regional State Administration, where «Miskzelentrest» is planting about 3,000 flowers.
Planting of tulips continues in other green zones of the city, with 10,200 tulip bulbs already planted in Shevchenko Park.
A significant number of tulips are planned for planting in the city center, near administrations, at the Tenth of April Square, as well as in parks and squares of Odesa.
