Power Network Failure in Izmail

This morning, on November 20, around 5:30 AM, a power network failure occurred in Izmail — the equipment could not handle the load. Residents of Izmail and nearby areas have temporarily lost electricity.
According to DTEK Odesa Electric Networks, specialists are already working on repairs and are trying to restore the equipment to operation as quickly as possible.
Energy workers reminded that throughout October and November, the area has been repeatedly targeted. The enemy struck at DTEK's infrastructure, damaging five substations, with one of them being attacked twice. Complete restoration will take time, so the system is operating under increased load.
Residents are advised not to turn on powerful electrical appliances simultaneously to avoid creating additional overloads and reduce the risk of new failures.
The Mayor of Izmail, Andriy Abramchenko, reported that emergency recovery works are being conducted due to the low voltage. Water supply facilities are being switched to backup power sources — this may temporarily reduce water pressure or cause temporary interruptions in water supply.
