Strengthening Ukraine's Navy: New CB90 Boats Arrive
The Ukrainian Navy has received new Combat Boat 90 vessels provided by Sweden and Norway. This was announced by Vice Admiral Oleksiy Neizhpapa, the commander of the Ukrainian Navy, on Facebook.
«These boats are already part of our fleet, and their numbers have increased – a complete division has been formed based on this technology» - noted Neizhpapa.
According to the commander, the CB90s are among the best in the world and are utilized by many countries, including NATO members.
They are fast, maneuverable, and reliable. Designed for various missions: from troop deployment and coastal defense to patrolling and protecting civilian shipping.
The boats are equipped according to modern naval warfare requirements, and their crews have undergone full training to effectively utilize all capabilities of the technology.
«I personally tested the Combat Boat 90 in action. I am convinced that these boats will become a powerful tool in the hands of our warriors», - emphasized Neizhpapa.
He reminded that the delivery of this technology is another outcome of the collaborative efforts within the Coalition for Ukraine's Maritime Capabilities, established to enhance the Navy's potential.
