Visit of International Representatives to Odesa
A delegation from the United Nations, including representatives from the Executive Council of the UN Development Programme (UNDP), the UN Office for Project Services (UNOPS), and the UN Population Fund (UNFPA), is visiting Odesa.
This visit, featuring five UN ambassadors and other distinguished guests, is organized by UNDP in Ukraine as part of collaboration with UNOPS and UNFPA.
During their working visit to Odesa, the delegation toured facilities supported by the UN.
The mayor expressed gratitude for the assistance provided to Odesa, particularly regarding the renovation of one of the wards at Hospital No. 8.
Gennady Trukhanov noted that the hospital is a regular facility but has already saved numerous lives, including victims of enemy attacks who required emergency medical care, which was provided by a highly qualified staff in excellent conditions and with new equipment.
The participants also discussed further cooperation, including attracting international investments for infrastructure projects such as the reconstruction of sewage and drainage systems and the construction of housing for internally displaced persons.
