Strengthening Digital Collaboration: Ukraine and Mastercard Unite
The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and global technology leader Mastercard are enhancing their collaboration to fortify cybersecurity and boost the digital maturity of entrepreneurs.
The memorandum of understanding was signed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, Mastercard's President for Eastern Europe Yasemin Bedir, and the General Director of Mastercard in Ukraine and Moldova Inga Andreyeva.
Mastercard has been a vital partner for us. Together, we have launched various projects that assist businesses and millions of Ukrainians. This new memorandum marks another significant step in our partnership, focusing on advancing financial literacy, developing digital tools for entrepreneurs through Diia.Business, and expanding card products and GovTech initiatives.
The focus areas of collaboration include:
- enhancing the digital maturity of small and medium-sized enterprises;
- developing digital products for secure payments and access to public services;
- improving financial literacy through the Diia.Education portal;
- advancing GovTech initiatives in partnership with the Global Government Technology Centre Kyiv;
- launching new educational projects in cybersecurity.
For many years, Mastercard has worked with various governments to support their digital transformation journeys. In Ukraine, we are implementing initiatives that foster the country’s digital progress. Our unwavering focus is on developing digital financial tools and supporting entrepreneurs.
Throughout our collaboration, we have executed key initiatives, such as launching the Diia.Business portal and establishing consulting centers both in Ukraine and abroad.
Mastercard has also contributed to developing the financial functionality of the e-Entrepreneur service, allowing entrepreneurs to access necessary financial services online during business registration.
