The Amazing Shell Maze in Ukraine
In the village of Molodyizhne, Odesa region, there is an impressive maze made of rapana shells that has become a new record in Ukraine. This unique attraction is located in the family recreation park «New Vasyuki».
The head of the National Register of Records of Ukraine, Lana Vetrova, shared this news on her Facebook page. The maze extends nearly half a kilometer - 486 linear meters, with walls measuring 25 cm thick. Its total area is 911.3 square meters. Over 134 tons of shells were used to create this marvel, collected from various sea shores. The cleaning and preparation process took many years, but the eco-park owner, Vasyl Voloshynov, was confident in the successful outcome.
Now, this place is recognized as the «First Maze of Rapana Shells» in Ukraine.
