New Train Connections from Ukraine to the EU
The ticket sales for new passenger trains linking Ukraine with the European Union have begun.
Starting September 12, 2025, direct trains from Uzhhorod will connect to EU cities: Bratislava, Vienna, and Budapest. Tickets became available on September 5.
Train schedule:
- №961/618 Uzhhorod — Bratislava. Departure from Uzhhorod at 8:09 AM, arriving in Bratislava at 6:33 PM. Train №617/964 Bratislava — Uzhhorod departs at 11:27 AM, arriving in Uzhhorod at 10:35 PM.
- №146 Uzhhorod — Budapest — Vienna. Departure from Uzhhorod at 8:09 AM, arriving in Budapest at 2:20 PM, and in Vienna at 5:20 PM. The return train №143 Vienna — Budapest — Uzhhorod departs at 10:42 AM, arriving in Budapest at 1:19 PM and in Uzhhorod at 10:35 PM.
