Arson Suspect Arrested for Car Fires in Odessa
Odessa law enforcement swiftly identified and arrested an individual responsible for setting cars ablaze in an underground parking facility in Arcadia. The suspect faces a significant prison sentence.

A few days ago, during curfew hours, a man broke into the parking lot of a residential building, doused two BMW vehicles with gasoline, and ignited them, both belonging to a local woman. The fire quickly spread to nearby BMW and Hyundai cars. Firefighters managed to extinguish the blaze, and fortunately, no one was injured.
Authorities determined that the suspect is a 27-year-old resident of Mykolaiv. He was apprehended while attempting to return home on a minibus. He has been charged with willful damage to property through arson. The court has set a preventive measure of detention, with the right to post bail amounting to 908,400 UAH. The man faces a potential penalty of up to 10 years in prison.
