Ukrainian Navy Dismantles Drone Base in Sevastopol
The Ukrainian Navy has successfully dismantled a drone base in temporarily occupied Sevastopol. This was reported by the press service of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Using the forces and means of the Navy of Ukraine, a drone base for the 'Forpost' (Mohajer-6) was destroyed at the 'Chersones' airfield in Sevastopol, which is under temporary occupation in Crimea," the report states.
As a result of the operation, up to three Mohajer-6 drones and two 'Forpost' UAVs, used by the enemy for reconnaissance and monitoring of the Black Sea area, were hit.
It is noted that Qods Mohajer-6 drones are Iranian-made and can carry both multispectral observation equipment and up to four precision-guided munitions. The 'Forpost' UAV is based on the Israeli 'Searcher II' model.
Previously, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense showcased results from combat drones in Crimea. During those operations, enemy radar stations, which were hidden, a landing craft, and an air defense base on Ai-Petri were successfully targeted.
