Daily Minute of Silence: Oleg Kiper's Call
The head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Oleg Kiper, requires city mayors and all government representatives to observe a minute of silence daily at 9:00 AM. This also includes halting all forms of transport.
In his Telegram channel, Kiper reminded about the Presidential Decree of Ukraine dated March 16, 2022, which states that Ukrainians should stop at 9:00 AM to honor the memory of those who lost their lives due to the war.
"I demand from all: city mayors, local government bodies, military administrations, heads of state and private institutions, educational establishments, healthcare facilities, and all concerned citizens – to strictly adhere to this decree."
There can be no excuses like "forgot," "didn't hear," or "we were busy."

A daily minute of silence is not just a pause. It is a testament to our memory and gratitude to those who gave their lives for Ukraine. It is our moral obligation, and indifference is not an option", - stated Oleg Kiper.
