Accelerated Award Process for Military Personnel
The Ministry of Defense has unveiled a new approach that will significantly reduce the time needed to process awards for brave military personnel.
This was reported by the ministry's press service.
«We have created an effective algorithm to streamline our processes. The military unit will send award documentation to the respective military command for review. This will take no more than two days at each stage. Once completed, the documents will be forwarded to the Presidential Office, allowing the entire process to be completed within 8 to 16 days», the Ministry stated.
Previously, the award process could take anywhere from 3 to 8 months due to various approval stages. Many documents were filled out manually.
Moreover, the Ministry of Defense has indicated that they are currently exploring the possibility of displaying the state award certificate in the electronic service Diia. All proposals will be sent to the relevant authorities for consideration.
