Arrest of a Scammer in Odesa for Selling Humanitarian Vehicles
In Odesa, law enforcement authorities detained a Kyiv resident involved in selling humanitarian vehicles. The man sold three cars that had been imported from abroad for military and charitable organizations. He has been charged and placed under preventive detention.

The 43-year-old suspect organized the import of cars into Ukraine under the pretense of humanitarian aid and subsequently sold these vehicles online. During a police operation, he was caught red-handed in Odesa while selling an Audi and two Mitsubishis for $16,100.
Authorities confiscated the illegally obtained money, the sold vehicles, and other items relevant to the case.
"The suspect was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and has been charged with selling humanitarian goods for profit during a state of war. This crime is punishable by up to seven years in prison along with asset confiscation", the statement reads.
The court has placed the suspect in custody with the possibility of bail set at 605,000 hryvnias. Investigations are underway to identify others involved in this crime.
