Inclusive Recreation Areas for Veterans in Odesa
Members of the Accessibility Council under the Odesa Mayor visited locations designated for the establishment of recreation and rehabilitation spaces for veterans and individuals with disabilities.
This includes the beach at the 11th station of the Great Fountain, where an inclusive beach is planned, as well as the area near the «Dolphin» beach, where an inclusive outdoor sports complex will be created.
In addition to executive officials, the expert group included veterans, public representatives, and individuals with disabilities.
During the visit, all critical aspects were documented, including the need for tactile pavement, ramps, additional handrails, and special swimming equipment.
The outcomes of the expert group’s meeting will soon be processed by the relevant services.
