Air Alert in Tulcea: Impact of Attacks on Odesa
In Romania, in the district of Tulcea, an air alert was declared due to Russian attacks targeting the southern region of Odesa; these events were also visible from Moldova.

On the night of August 5-6, in the district of Tulcea, located opposite the southernmost cities of Ukraine, an air alert lasted for an hour and a half due to Russian drone strikes on southern Odesa.
The actions of air defense and explosions were clearly visible from Romania.
A fire that broke out during the shelling caused panic among the local population, with about 20 individuals contacting emergency services, fearing that a fire had occurred nearby.
"Response teams remained in the area to monitor the situation and were prepared to intervene if necessary. We urge calm and remind that the targets of the Russian attacks are not within Romanian territory, and we call on citizens to follow the safety measures recommended by the authorities," said the emergency service.
The attack was also visible from Moldova, as reported by readers to the publication Nokta.
