“Movement Without Barriers” in Odessa: New Initiatives
The city of Odesa is actively pursuing initiatives under the project «Barrier-Free Movement».
Today, July 24, another online meeting took place with representatives from the Ministry of Community Development, Territories, and Infrastructure of Ukraine. Participants discussed the documentation needed for the project implementation, as well as collaboration with businesses to foster an inclusive environment.
At the direction of Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov, active renovation work has already begun along the barrier-free routes in Odesa.
This includes preparations for sidewalk renovations, installation of ramps, tactile elements, and inclusive navigation signs.
