New Strategy for the Development of the Odessa District
A significant meeting took place at the Odessa City Hall aimed at strengthening neighborly relations with communities in the Odessa district.
During the encounter with representatives of the Tairov community, participants addressed issues regarding new construction, considering the limitations of engineering networks and social services.
Particularly, they focused on the development of adjacent engineering systems, collaboration in education and healthcare, social support for the population, and transportation infrastructure.
«It is essential to develop a common strategy that will ensure the proportional development of the Odessa agglomeration, rather than just focusing on construction volumes. The old infrastructure can no longer cope with the new demands», - emphasized Odessa Mayor Gennady Trukhanov.
«In the context of the General Plan, we have made significant progress, but we must establish common principles of neighborliness and act in unison», - added Secretary of the Tairov Village Council Alexander Orlov.
