Fire Breaks Out at Market in Odesa Region

A fire broke out at a market in the Odesa region, affecting three trading pavilions. The flames spread over an area of 80 m². The cause was identified as an electrical short circuit, according to the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

The incident occurred yesterday, July 9, during the day in the village of Serhiivka in the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district. Three trading pavilions on Budzhakska Street caught fire at the local market. The fire was swiftly extinguished, covering an area of 80 m².

"Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries. The fire was caused by an electrical short circuit. The State Emergency Service deployed 3 units of equipment and 12 firefighters, while the local fire team from the village of "Shabo" provided 1 unit of equipment and 3 personnel", the report stated.
