Naval Forces of Ukraine: Commitment and Defense
The Navy forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are defending both at sea and on land, ensuring the safety of Ukraine's skies.
This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky on Facebook in celebration of the Ukrainian Navy Day.
Together with all defense forces, the Navy has proven that Ukraine is capable of protecting its interests.
“There will be no Russian landings in Odesa, “Moscow” has sunk, Snake Island remains under Ukrainian control, 28 Russian ships and one submarine have been destroyed, and the “grain corridor” is operational, supporting global food security,” emphasized Zelensky while congratulating on Navy Day.
The Ukrainian Navy Day has been celebrated since 2015 on the first Sunday of July, as per the Presidential decree from June 12, 2015.
