Ambulance Accident in Central Odessa
An accident involving an ambulance occurred in central Odessa. The emergency vehicle was responding with sirens on when a car failed to yield, leading to a collision. As a result, members of the medical crew were injured.
The incident took place on June 28 at an intersection on Mala Arnautska Street. The ambulance, with flashing lights activated, collided with a passenger vehicle. The impact caused the ambulance to be pushed into a parked car.
Members of the ambulance crew, including a doctor, paramedic, and emergency medical technician, sustained injuries and were hospitalized. Their condition is stable, although the ambulance suffered significant damage.
“We emphasize the importance of adhering to traffic rules! Every driver is responsible for the lives of others. An ambulance is not just a vehicle; it represents life and safety for people. In the current conditions of ongoing war, every second counts,” officials stated.
