Diplomatic Conversations at Odesa University

During a working visit to the Odesa region, Ukraine's Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sybiga visited Odesa National University named after I.I. Mechnikov, one of the leading educational institutions in southern Ukraine.

He engaged in conversation with international relations and political science students preparing to represent Ukraine on the global stage.

The meeting was held in a warm atmosphere, with the minister open to dialogue, readily answering questions, sharing his personal experiences in diplomacy, and discussing current challenges in foreign policy.

“Modern diplomacy requires not only professionalism but also flexibility, a deep understanding of the world, and clear value orientations. This is what the new generation of Ukrainian diplomats should embody,” emphasized Andriy Sybiga.

Students inquired about Eurointegration, information security, the challenges of war, Ukraine's representation in the world, and personal motivations for serving their country in difficult times. The responses were inspiring and encouraged reflection.

Such meetings are an investment in the future of our country, as they shape the image of Ukraine on the international stage.

We thank Andriy Sybiga for his openness and the university staff for the warm atmosphere!
