Greening Efforts in Odesa
The staff of the municipal enterprise «Miskzelentrest» continues its greening work in Odesa. In April, they planted 327 young deciduous trees.
All trees, aged 8-10 years, including white acacia, sycamore maple, common ash, Japanese sophora, eastern plane tree, catalpa bignonioides, and heart-leaved linden, were cultivated locally. The trees are planted with a closed root system to enhance their survival rate.
Since the beginning of the year, around 1500 young trees and over 7200 shrubs have been planted across Odesa as part of various initiatives and community clean-up events.
The greening of Odesa is ongoing.
