New Well in Odessa: An Alternative Water Source
In Odessa, the construction of a new well is underway, which will serve as an alternative water supply for residents.
In September 2024, work began on a well complex with artesian water in the park near the "Zoryany" cinema, as reported by the Odessa City Council press service. The drilling of the artesian well has been completed, and the perimeter of the sanitary protection zone has been fenced off.
Contractors are actively working on building the well building, where water purification equipment is being installed and a technical room for staff is being arranged. Currently, the roof construction is nearing completion, and interior finishing work is ongoing.
Additionally, preparations for landscaping the area around the well have begun. The construction is expected to be completed by the summer of 2025.
