Greening Initiatives in Odesa
In Odesa, scheduled work is ongoing to lower the level of lawns along the road and on the median strip of Mykolaiv road. A total of approximately 6800 m² of green space is set to be processed. This has been reported by the Odesa City Council press service.
The work is being carried out by specialists from KP «Miskzelentrest» and KP «City Roads». Excess soil that has accumulated on the lawns is being removed, as it can cause pollution of the roadway during rainfall and negatively affect the appearance of the area.
As of now, 4315 m² of coverage has been processed, and seeds of ryegrass have already been sown on an area of 4255 m². All work on lowering the ground level and sowing the lawn is expected to be completed by the end of March 2025.
