Autumn Greening Efforts in Odessa: Daily Tasks of Municipal Workers
The staff of the municipal enterprise «Miskzelentrest» engage in vital tasks every day to uphold the cleanliness and aesthetics of Odessa's parks and squares.
Currently, autumn activities include trimming shrubs, watering flower beds, and removing dry branches and debris. Daily, the workers form pits, mow lawns, and care for young trees.
Additionally, the enterprise's employees regularly clean all parks: sweeping paths, emptying bins, and removing litter from green areas.
Fallen leaves are collected only from the lawns near pathways to maintain a neat appearance, while in other parts of green zones, they remain to enhance soil microflora.
Approximately 170 greening specialists participate in these daily efforts, utilizing 29 units of specialized equipment, including watering machines and cargo vehicles.
