Current Information on Odesa's Public Wells

The municipal enterprise «Water Service» manages 16 public wells located throughout Odesa. The depth of these wells ranges from 111 to 149 meters.

On average, each well supplies between 8 to 12 cubic meters of water during operational hours (from 08:00 to 20:00). The purified water obtained from the wells is accessible to all residents.

Water from the wells is tested monthly for compliance with national sanitary standards.

On November 17, 2024, due to a combined attack on the country’s energy infrastructure, water and electricity supplies were suspended in Odesa. This led to a significant increase in visitors to the public wells, with approximately 13,000 and 12,000 people visiting on the 17th and 18th respectively.

Under normal circumstances, about 10,000 visitors use the city’s wells daily. Each well is equipped with an alternative power source in case of electricity outages.

The wells are available in all districts of the city at the following addresses:
Dalytska St., 25;
Heavenly Hundred Ave., 14;
I. Rabin St.;
Lesia Ukrainka Ave. (Gagarina), 33;
