Community Service Enhancements in 2024
In 2024, the community enterprise «Housing and Communal Service Porto-François» completed extensive renovation works across its managed buildings.
Following requests from residents, the specialists carried out the following improvements: roof renovation – 3682 sq. m; drainage network repairs – 731 m; road repairs – 1296.7 sq. m; asphalt resurfacing in courtyards – 101.13 sq. m; entrance repairs – 1695 sq. m; central heating system repairs – 1023 m; cold water supply network repairs – 1361 m; electrical network repairs – 1769 m; window glazing – 131 sq. m; archway repairs – 1 building.
In addition, the enterprise's cleaners maintain order in the adjacent territories. Cleaning is performed twice a day (sweeping yards and sidewalks, emptying bins, collecting litter, washing garbage containers, etc.).
The community workers also mow grass, prune trees, collect fallen leaves, and maintain flowerbeds and lawns around the buildings they service. They participate in citywide clean-up events when necessary, address illegal dumping sites, and manage the aftermath of hostile attacks.
