Maintenance of Public Transport Stops in Odesa
The municipal enterprise «City Roads» is responsible for 1012 public transport stops in Odesa.
Experts from the enterprise regularly carry out cleaning of the areas surrounding the stops, repair and restore bins, benches, and pavilions, as well as wash and repaint them.
Since the beginning of the year, 47 stops have been repainted, and 274 bins have been repaired, 131 of which were damaged due to vandalism.
Unfortunately, the issue of vandalism remains a pressing concern, with unknown individuals frequently leaving graffiti, breaking benches, and uprooting bins along with their concrete bases, as well as shattering the glass walls of the stops. Additionally, stops are damaged due to traffic accidents.
The Odesa City Council once again urges residents and visitors to treat the community's property with care. Intentional destruction of city property can lead to criminal liability.
