Government Support for Disability Assistance in Odesa Region
In 2024, approximately 4,400 individuals in the Odesa region received government assistance for prosthetics and rehabilitation equipment.
This information was provided by the press service of the Odesa Regional State Administration.
The total amount of aid reached about 226 million hryvnias.
Overall, last year, the government allocated over 5 billion hryvnias for providing Ukrainians with prosthetics and various rehabilitation aids.
Across Ukraine, more than 416,000 rehabilitation aids were issued, benefiting 108,000 citizens.
This is extremely important, as each prosthetic, wheelchair, orthotic device, or other equipment offers the chance to move again, work, stay close to loved ones, and lead a full life, noted the Odesa Regional Administration.
