Health Initiatives at Odessa Clinics

Health days and open house events have become a common practice for family clinics in Odessa.

The primary goal is to encourage residents to take care of their health, as regular medical examinations are the best way to detect and prevent illnesses.

This was stated by Odessa's mayor, Gennady Trukhanov, during his visit to one such event at the Primary Health Care Center No. 3.

The clinic serves over 13,000 residents of a densely populated neighborhood.

Recently, the facility underwent major renovations to create comfortable conditions for patients and medical staff. Among other improvements, the entrance and restrooms were renovated to meet modern accessibility standards for people with limited mobility.

To ensure operational autonomy, the clinic is equipped with a generator and has a water reservoir of 1,000 liters.

In addition to standard services, Primary Health Care Center No. 3 offers mobile palliative care, mental health support, and tuberculosis treatment. There is also a substitution therapy program for individuals with dependencies.

To access free services under the state medical guarantee program, patients must sign a declaration with their family doctor.
