Odesa Under Attack: Consequences of the Assault
On the evening of November 14, 2024, Odesa suffered a massive enemy strike.
The city was hit by a missile and drone attack, damaging 9 high-rise buildings, educational institutions, service stations, a church, retail properties, a main heating pipeline, private garages, and over 40 vehicles.
The enemy also targeted Odesa's port infrastructure.
Additionally, one of the family clinics in the city center was affected by the nighttime bombardment by the Russian army.
Windows and doors were shattered, furniture was broken, walls and ceilings sustained damage, as did roof beams.
Currently, windows are being sealed with plastic, and the condition of the building and engineering networks is being assessed. The clinic on Pasteur Street is not operating until inspections are completed.
The clinic building is an architectural landmark and lies within a UNESCO protected area.
