Odesa Hospital Expands Cardiological Services with New Technology
Last week, Odesa City Clinical Hospital No. 11 was visited by the Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine, Edem Adamanov.
The hospital recently launched a modern department for cardiology and cardiac surgery, equipped with cutting-edge technology. This is a significant advancement for the city's cardiology sector, improving medical service accessibility for patients.
Plans are underway to expand diagnostic capabilities, as Hospital No. 11 serves as a key facility for treating polytrauma.
During the visit, an assessment of the space was conducted for the installation of MRI – crucial equipment that will allow:
- the quick and accurate assessment of injuries in polytrauma patients;
- enhancement of trauma diagnosis quality;
- continuous patient management without referral to other hospitals;
- expansion of urgent and planned neurodiagnostic capabilities.
«The installation of MRI will be an essential strategic step that will strengthen Hospital No. 11's role as a powerful clinical center for providing highly specialized assistance to Odesa residents and visitors,» noted Olena Kolodenko, Director of the Odesa City Health Department.
