Advancements in Cardiology in Odesa
The newly established cardiology department at City Clinical Hospital No. 11 in Odesa has already treated nearly 1,000 patients. Among them, over 600 received assistance in cardiology, while 370 were treated in cardiothoracic surgery.
The medical staff has performed almost 900 surgical procedures, including 174 interventions for patients with acute myocardial infarction, utilizing stenting and balloon angioplasty.
The department also conducts thrombectomies for pulmonary embolism and other critical surgical operations.
Under the state medical guarantee program, 293 planned coronary angiographies have been conducted, along with 100 additional procedures for residents of Odesa as part of the “Health” city-targeted program.
Patients have highlighted the comfortable conditions during their treatment and the provision of free medical assistance.
The new department is equipped with a modern elevator, inclusive restrooms, tactile tiles, and ramps to ensure accessibility for those with disabilities.
This ensures high-quality cardiological care and contributes to the health improvement of patients with cardiovascular issues, marking an important advancement in the local healthcare landscape.
