Advanced Gastroscopy Options in Odesa
A new fibrogastroscope has been introduced at the Consultative and Diagnostic Center No. 6 in Odesa, offering enhanced diagnostic capabilities.
This device is equipped with chromoscopy modes that allow detailed assessment of the mucous membrane and early detection of oncological diseases, as well as diagnosis of gastritis, peptic ulcers, and other gastric conditions.
The modern video processor provides doctors with high-definition images during examinations.
The processor also features photo and video recording capabilities to document changes in the stomach, esophagus, or duodenum for further treatment plans.
Esophagogastroduodenoscopy is provided free of charge in Odesa's hospitals under the state medical guarantee program in agreement with the National Health Service of Ukraine.
Last year, over 24,500 procedures were performed in the city's medical institutions. After turning 50, it is recommended to have gastroscopy done regularly, even in the absence of complaints.
Odesa's medical facilities are equipped with modern diagnostic equipment for esophagogastroduodenoscopy, which is available on an outpatient basis upon referral from a family doctor.
