Smart Medical Products has announced a groundbreaking ultrasound system of expert level, HandyUsound.
The device was showcased at the 34th International Medical Exhibition Public Health 2025, where healthcare experts gathered to discuss the restoration and modernization of health systems.
HandyUsound is a fully Ukrainian development created by Maxim Smolyar, the engineer and CTO of Smart Medical Products.
This ultrasound system weighs only 10 kilograms, making it easy to transport. A key advantage is the ability to operate continuously for up to eight hours in a fully autonomous mode without being plugged into the electrical grid.
The primary goal of this development was to provide military medics with a reliable tool for diagnosis in the most challenging conditions.
This system can be utilized in field conditions, taking into account the needs of tactical and military medicine. Given its autonomy and ease of maintenance, HandyUsound is ideally suited for crisis situations where access to stationary equipment is limited.
