Rehabilitation Assistance Forum in Odesa Region
Representatives of healthcare institutions in Odesa attended a regional forum titled «Rehabilitation Assistance within the Medical Guarantees Program», organized by the National Health Service of Ukraine for the heads of medical facilities in the Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions.
The forum showcased the results of monitoring compliance with the conditions of contracts for the package «Rehabilitation Assistance for Adults and Children in Inpatient Settings».
Participants discussed the monitoring results and strategies to address key issues aimed at enhancing the capabilities and improving the quality of inpatient rehabilitation assistance.
New tools in the electronic healthcare system related to the rehabilitation process were also presented, aiming to make electronic document management more user-friendly.
In Odesa, as part of the state medical guarantees program, inpatient rehabilitation for adults is provided by municipal hospitals No. 1, No. 8, No. 10, and No. 11. Services for pediatric inpatient rehabilitation are offered by the children's municipal clinical hospital No. 3. These medical facilities are equipped with modern equipment funded by the city budget, allowing for a wide range of rehabilitation procedures.
Additionally, renovation works are being carried out to expand the rehabilitation capabilities of the municipal clinical hospital No. 1 and to establish a robust rehabilitation center based at municipal hospital No. 5.
