Solar Power Initiatives in Odesa Hospitals
Solar Power Initiatives in Odesa Hospitals
The Ovidiopol and Bilyaivka hospitals are currently installing solar power stations aimed at achieving energy independence. This is a crucial step for ensuring continuous operations even during complete power outages.
The Ovidiopol hospital has a system with a capacity of 70 kW.
The Bilyaivka hospital is set to become one of the strongest in the region with a 500 kW station.
This project is being implemented under an agreement between the hospitals and the Lithuanian company UAB Solet, with financial support from the Government of Lithuania, which allocated funds for the equipment.
The equipment has arrived on site, and installation work is ongoing. Soon, both medical facilities will be able to operate partially autonomously, independent of the main power grid.
We thank our international partners for their tangible contributions that strengthen Ukrainian healthcare and ensure its resilience during wartime.
