Modern Medical Services for Children in Odessa

At the children’s hospital No. 3 in Odessa, a new modern reception and diagnostic department has opened after renovations, operating around the clock.

This department features specialized isolation rooms, ensuring compliance with sanitary norms, which is crucial for children suspected of having infectious diseases.

Additionally, the hospital offers comfortable small surgical wards. Endoscopic surgery is actively developed here, with various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures being performed.

Renovations continued even during wartime, focusing on accessibility and inclusivity.

Odessa's Mayor Gennady Trukhanov emphasized during the opening that the city is consistently working to improve medical services and patient conditions.

“We aim to create conditions in medical institutions that are comfortable for patients and healthcare personnel. Modern equipment and qualified specialists will ensure a high level of medical care,” the mayor stated.

By the end of 2023, a new emergency and trauma department was established at hospital No. 3, catering to the medical needs of children in the Peresyp district. Emergency care is available 24/7, including urgent vaccinations.

The department has become quite popular among Odessa residents, with nearly 2000 children receiving medical assistance.

The range of surgical and trauma services at the hospital is continually expanding. Besides emergency care, qualified doctors perform planned surgeries, including complex reconstructive operations. Children's hospital No. 3 serves as an important medical facility, offering a wide range of services at a modern level.
