World Ice Hockey Championship: Ukrainian Team's Remarkable Performance
From April 20 to 26, Hungary hosted the World Ice Hockey Championship, a significant event for the Ukrainian team.
Among the players was Ilya Bobrov, a graduate of the Odessa sports school «Dzhinistra», who served as the goalkeeper for the U18 national team.
The Ukrainian team showcased an impressive performance, earning a well-deserved second place.
In Division 1A, there were 7 teams, and the results for the Ukrainian team were as follows:
Hungary – Ukraine 1:7;
Ukraine – Denmark 1:5;
Ukraine – Australia 6:3;
Ukraine – Slovenia 7:1;
Kazakhstan – Ukraine 2:3.
The athlete was coached by Ruslan Korop from the «Dzhinistra» sports school.
A total of 69 young athletes are training in the ice hockey department of the KZSPU «Dzhinistra» sports school.
