Ensuring Safety in Education: New Initiatives
Today, the issue of safety in educational institutions and the provision of equitable, appropriate, and safe conditions for learning is of great importance.
On September 2, 2024, a new educational project was launched at Odesa Lyceum No. 28 in collaboration with the educational safety service.
This initiative aims to strengthen the connection between youth and law enforcement, increase legal awareness among students, and foster a culture of responsible citizenship.
The project includes a series of training sessions, meetings, and interactive classes where police representatives will explain their duties, rights, and the basics of law and order to students.
Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in simulation training that will enhance their understanding of the project.
This is particularly necessary today as society faces new challenges in safety and law enforcement.
Young people need not only basic knowledge of their rights and responsibilities but also an understanding of the importance of interacting with police, building trust in law enforcement, and a responsible attitude towards following the law.
